Deep vibrant purple / red.
An elegant wine with tremendous levels of concentration and flavour ripe raspberries, dark red berries, warm cedar with a hint of vanilla and a spicy, peppery undertone.
A silky, glossy palate. Beautiful tannins with a delightful, silky, lingering finish.
The grapes are handpicked from dry grown, low yielding vines planted in 1905. Naturally fermented in open 500L vats, gently hand plunged each day. The wine is matured in new French oak Hogsheads for 24 months.

A glossy deep red with inky purple hues, such lovely aromatics of spiced plum and blackberry on the nose with a vanillin thread that only comes from the finest of French oak.
The palate is deeply concentrated and saturated with plum; milk and dark chocolate give complexity and contrast. There is a savoury pull to the wine that accentuates the length before concentrated and decadent dark fruits show prodigious length to finish. Drink 2022 - 2040

Deep colour. Intense raspberry confit, Turkish delight, blackberry aromas with subtle mocha, sesame notes. Very expressive palate with pure smooth blackberry, raspberry fruits, fine velvety tannins and superbly integrated marzipan, mocha oak. Finishes chocolaty and sweet fruited with a spicy aniseed kick. A classical Barossa vintage with lovely fruit definition, volume and persistency. 100% new French oak puncheons. Drink now – 2032
